Workshops

The “Filmmaking for Photographers” workshop started 5 years ago when I saw a huge need in the marketplace to help educate still photographers on the foundational principals and techniques required for filmmaking. The demand for video content across web, social media and corporate projects is growing exponentially, and it is vital for photographers to learn these techniques in order to remain competitive in today’s marketplace.

This workshop has proven to be incredibly successful, and has continued to grow at both conferences and retail outlets. And hundreds of people have benefitted from it technically, artistically and financially. During this “hands on” 6 hour workshop, we will cover proper camera settings, lighting techniques, composition, screen direction, aesthetic and visual continuity, editing, data workflow, sound recording, and the various stages of pre-production, production and post production.

We are thrilled that this workshop has been supported by Canon cameras, SanDisk Pro media cards, G-technology hard drives, Manfrotto tripods, Tiffen filters, RODE microphones, Sekonic light meters, SmallHD monitors and Calibrate color management products. The goal is to equip you with everything you need to learn to become a profitable “hybrid” photographer/filmmaker!
